Peri Ann Aptaker, Esq., CPA/PFS, CFP®, CBA

Ms. Aptaker received her B.S. in Business Administration from
the University of Massachusetts in 1983 and her Masters of
Science in Taxation from Bentley College in 1988. Ms. Aptaker
received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 1992 from Suffolk
University Law School.
Ms. Aptaker joined Kahn, Litwin, Renza &
Co., Ltd. (KLR) in 2001 and is the Director of Tax Services.
Ms. Aptaker is a member of the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Rhode Island Certified
Public Accountants (RISCPA) and Massachusetts Society of Certified
Public Accountants (MSCPA). In addition, she is a member of
the Institute of Business Appraisers, National Association
of Certified Valuation Analysts, Financial Planning Association
(RI Chapter), Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Florida Bar
Associations, Rhode Island Estate Planning Council, RISCPA
Business Valuation Committee, the President of the Planned
Giving Council of Rhode Island, Treasurer of RI Public Radio,
a member of the Miriam Hospital Foundation Annual Giving Committee,
a member of the Providence Country Day School Finance Committee
and a board member for Jewish Family Service.
Ms. Aptaker has been qualified as an expert witness in Rhode
Island State and Federal courts. She has written several articles
on financial planning and business valuation issues and is
a frequent speaker at professional meetings.
She is the Vice-President and Treasurer of
the Planned Giving Council of Rhode Island. She serves on
the Professional Advisory Committee of the Jewish Federation
of Rhode Island and serves as a board member for Rhode Island
Public Radio and Jewish Family Service.
