Six Boston-based startups named as part of incubator program

Incubator and accelerator programs can offer many valuable tools to startups in the Boston area, and North Shore InnoVentures is certainly one of them. The organization recently announced six local startups that will be participating in its yearly program.
North Shore InnoVentures stated that the six new companies specialize in clean technology and life sciences in Boston. These startups join 15 other companies that have been chosen by the organization as part of the incubator. The newest firms joining the program are Akita Innovations, Lariat Biosciences, ZS Genetics, RAN Biotechnologies, Apptomics and Quad Technologies.
North Shore InnoVentures hosts incubators for clean tech and life sciences startups in the Boston region and provides services and support for developing companies as well as investors.
The clean technology industry is growing significantly within Massachusetts, as the Boston Business Journal reported that research from Clean Edge found that the Bay State ranked No. 2 on the list of best stated for clean technology. California took the top spot, but Massachusetts' commitment to boosting the sector could help the state take first place in years to come.
