Larry Davidson, CPA

Mr. Davidson graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration (Accounting) and from Babson College with a Masters Degree in Business Administration (Finance). In addition to his BBA and MBA, he completed the Executive Management Program at the Kellogg Business School at Northwestern University.

Mr. Davidson’s career in public accounting began in 1968 with the Boston office of Ernst & Young. He was a resident with Ernst & Young’s national office of accounting and auditing before transferring to Providence in 1983 as a Partner. He has over 35 years of experience in public accounting. His responsibilities include the coordination of all services to a variety of entrepreneurial companies specializing in financial needs of closely-held, venture-backed and middle market publicly-owned companies.

Mr. Davidson’s professional memberships include the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants (RICPA); Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA); Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accounts (CSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He currently serves as Chairman of the Providence/Cranston Workforce Investment Board and the Providence/Cranston Regional Employment and Training Board.

Mr. Davidson has served on the Boards of the Better Business Bureau, Rhode Island Philharmonic, Rhode Island Historical Society, United Way Campaign, Urban League of Rhode Island and the Providence Children’s Museum. He also served as the Treasurer and Vice President of the Ledgemont Country Club.

Mr. Davidson has a daughter and resides on the East Side of Providence, Rhode Island with his wife, Phoebe.
