Mr. Davies received his B.S. in Accounting from New Hampshire College in 1972. He received his Personal Financial Specialist designation (PFS) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) in 1998. He received his certification as a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts in 2001.

Mr. Davies joined the firm in 1988 after serving as Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration at Beta Optical Co. in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. Prior to joining Beta Optical, Mr. Davies spent four years as a senior accountant and computer audit specialist with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., Inc. in Providence, Rhode Island.

Mr. Davies is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants. He serves on the Rhode Island Quality Institute board. Mr. Davies has served as secretary and board member for the Accountants for the Public Interest of Rhode Island; treasurer and board member of the North Kingstown American Little League; and treasurer and founding board member of Make-A-Wish Foundation of Rhode Island.

Mr. Davies resides in North Kingstown, Rhode Island with his wife, Sheila, their daughter, Jennaca, and son, Christopher.
