Daniel J. Ryan, CPA

Mr. Ryan is a Principal with the Providence
accounting firm of Kahn, Litwin, Renza & Co., Ltd. (KLR).
He joined the firm in 2008, bringing a solid background in
all phases of tax planning and compliance. He has over thirty
years of experience working with closely held businesses and
their owners specializing in estate tax matters, litigation
support, business valuations, tax return compliance and IRS
and State audit representation services.
Mr. Ryan is a Certified Public Accountant
in Rhode Island and New York and is an Alternative Dispute
Resolution Mediator for the US First District Court. He received
his Bachelor of Arts degree from Providence College, completed
his Post Graduate Studies at Pace University (NYC), and received
his Master of Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson
University.
Mr. Ryan is a member of the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants, the Rhode Island Society
of Certified Public Accountants, the State of Rhode Island
Community Hospital Community Task Force, the Rhode Island
Board of Governors of Higher Education, the St. Joseph’s
Health Services of Rhode Island, the Providence College Board
of Governors for the National Alumni Association, and the
Providence College President’s Advisory Council.
In the past, Mr. Ryan served as a committee
member for the Providence College Board of Trustees, a member
of the Providence College President’s Advisory Council,
treasurer of the Board of Trustees for the Providence Country
Day School, Board of Trustees for the Prout School, Chairman
of the “Night Under the Stars” Christian Brothers
Retirement Fund’s annual fundraiser, served on the LaSalle
Academy Capital Fund Executive Committee, managed and coached
the Barrington Little League, the Barrington Youth Soccer
League, the CYO Basketball teams at St. Luke’s Church
and the North Providence West Little League team.
Mr. Ryan has three children, Glenna, Colleen
and Timothy, and resides in Barrington with his wife Jane.
