Henry A. Silva, CPA
Director of Accounting and Auditing

Mr. Silva joined the firm in 1996 and brings
to Kahn, Litwin, Renza & Co., Ltd. numerous years of public
and private accounting experience. His wide range of audit
and consulting experience with clients in a variety of industries,
including healthcare, manufacturing, service, retail, distribution,
not-for-profit, construction, education, and hospitality.
Henry graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration
with a concentration in Accounting and then went on to gain
his Masters in Business Administration, earning both degrees
from Providence College.
He is a member of the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Rhode Island
Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is currently serving
on the Board of Overseers for the Providence Children’s
Museum and a member of the Finance Committee and school board
of St. Raphael Academy. Mr. Silva has been an adjunct professor
in the Economics department at Brown University since 2004.
In the past, he has been an adjunct professor
at Providence College and Johnson & Wales University.
He has served on both the Executive Committee and as treasurer
for the Worksite Wellness Council of Rhode Island and the
Providence Children’s Museum and was a member of the
Board of Directors of Woonsocket North Stars Youth Hockey.
He has been a speaker for the Boy Scouts of America Career
Awareness Program and was an instructor for Junior Achievement
of RI Project Business program and for the RISBDC Financial
Management Seminars.
