Overseas assignments pose many challenges for both the employer and employee. Failure to anticipate the many complexities that will inevitably arise can be problematic and costly on a number of fronts.  Advanced planning and adequate communication with the employee is critical in order to avoid the many potential pitfalls as well as meeting employee expectations.

Our panel will address the myriad of legal, tax and financial issues that face the company and its assignees touching on matters such as employment contracts, payroll, tax planning/equalization, insurance, banking, immigration, etc.

Our panel will also discuss the tax and immigration changes that may be occurring in the new Trump administration, and their possible impact.
